Pod Formula 1

Formula 1 is here in the USA. If you can't get enough of Forumla 1 on Speed TV (or whatever you have in your country). Check out Pod Formula 1:

Name: Pod Formula 1 [click to subscribe]
Category: Sports
Description: The original Formula 1 podcast. The inside line of F1 Racing . . . or, perhaps better described as, "the outside of any important circles/parking lot alternative view" of F1 Racing. This is what the announcers want to say but can't on TV.

My predictions... Kimi will take the early lead from Truli (who'll fade...). Michael Shumacher will stay out late due to carrying more fuel and will pit last of the front runners and come out ahead of KImi and Alonso. If the Michelins hold out Ferrari won't win, but if the problems surface with the Michelins (Michelin have told the FIA that they are unsure the tyres used in qualifying will be safe to race unless the speeds in the banked Turn 13 can be reduced.) look for Shumi and Rubens get to 2 spots on the podium.

Yeah - who knew that the Michelin teams would pull out. The race was not the same with the all the other teams. Oh well. No one cried when Bridgestone had problems getting tires that come up to speed in a few laps which has hindered Ferrari's qualifying all season. No on cried when Shumi dropped out from 2 tire failures. Oh well.

I guess when you have 70% of the teams on your tires you think you have enough power to bully the event. We'll see what happens and the fines that ensue. Cya @ Magne Cours - you know Michelin knows how to make tires for that track!
